Critters Without Litters Spay/Neuter Clinic

June 1, 2007, Mercer Humane Society opened a Spay/Neuter Clinic to help reduce the pet over population in Mercer and surrounding communities   In September, 2008, the spay/neuter clinic formed it’s own corporation and is now known as Critters Without Litters.  It continues to work with citizens of Mercer and surrounding counties to reduce pet overpopulation by providing high quality, low cost spays and neuters for companion animals.  The clinic is located at 165 Eminence Ave in Harrodsburg and schedules appointments for Monday (and sometimes alternate Wednesday). All surgeries are by appointment only.

At this time we are NOT able to offer services to animals NOT being spayed or neutered in our facility.

The cost for spay or neuter is
$30 for cats
$40 for dogs under 40 lbs.
$50 for dogs 50 lbs and up

Proof of rabies is required for alter or your pet will be vaccinated for rabies at your expense.

Financial assistance is available and we will work with those who need help and those with multiple animals.
